The 8551BK Benchmade Mediator holds true to its namesake, mediating simple and lightweight, and durability and strength. The Mediator is slim and light, but still rock solid in construction, employing some of the world’s finest knife materials; the handle has G-10 handle scales with a milled chevron pattern and the blade is Cerakote coated CPM-S90V, offering top of the line edge retention. A safety lock on the handle prevents unintentional blade collapse and deployment. The piece is finished with a reversible tip-up, deep carry pocket clip and a lanyard hole. Sometimes its the little things that make the biggest splash.
